I thoroughly tested the Sculpfun iCube Ultra, a compact enclosed laser engraver with both a 12W diode module and an optional 1.2W IR module. The diode laser was tested on 3mm and 5mm plywood, leather, slate, scratch paper, and aluminium business cards, while the IR module was tested on a stainless steel dog tag.
