    If you’re just getting started, a good first test is a simple cylinder engraving (like text around a dowel) to dial in your steps/mm and workholding before moving to deeper carving. Consistent stock centering makes a bigger difference than most people expect. I’ve been collecting general resources and accessories around Snapmaker setups lately, and the rotary module is definitely one of the most versatile upgrades in the ecosystem. Looking forward to seeing what you make with it!
