Looking for Advice on 3D Printing Small Gnome Figures for Production

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to start producing small gnome figures using 3D printing, and I'd appreciate some advice from people with experience in this area.

I'd like to print the figures at around 2 inches (5 cm) tall. I have a few questions:

  • Production time: Approximately how many figures could I print per day with a typical 3D printer?

  • Filament: What type of filament would you recommend for this kind of decorative model?

  • Multicolor printing: I'd like to produce the figures in different colors. What's the best way to achieve this?

  • Printer recommendation: Which 3D printer would you recommend for this purpose, especially if I want to produce multiple figures efficiently?

Here's an example of the type of model I have in mind: https://corb3d.com/model/free-gnome-stl-file-cute-3d-printable-gnome-figurine/

I'm still researching my options, so any advice on printer models, materials, print settings, or production efficiency would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!
