Cocoa Press 2.0: The Next Evolution in 3D Chocolate Printing

The Cocoa Press 2.0 is the latest chocolate 3D printer from Ellie Weinstein and the team at Cocoa Press and it features many quality-of-life upgrades over the original machine, launched in 2023. Designed for 3D printer hobbyists and chocolatiers alike, the Cocoa Press 2.0 aims to improve the experience of the original machine while remaining accessible for beginners without 3D printing experience.

We’ve listened to our customer’s feedback from our first offering and now we’re excited to offer our customers more flexibility and creative potential with this upgraded machine,” said Matt Stultz, Head of Community at Cocoa Press. “Cocoa Press 2.0 takes chocolate 3D printing to new heights, combining ease of use with professional-grade precision.

Just like the original Cocoa Press, the Cocoa Press 2.0 is a Voron-inspired 3D printer that is able to precisely deposit heated chocolate to create 3D models, similar to an FDM 3D printer. I built the original Cocoa Press earlier this year, and the experience was a very positive one. I’ve printed chocolates for special occasions, brought them around the world as gifts, and shared my experience with the machine on YouTube.
