Each year, we highlight standout tools and technologies with the 3DWithUs Innovative Product Award. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, we closely follow developments, attend major trade shows such as TCT and Formnext, and test a wide range of equipment. Our team and contributors bring decades of combined hands-on experience.
To receive this award, a product must introduce a meaningful innovation and be tested by 3DWithUs or one of our contributing authors. Our decisions are based on hands-on experience, not just specifications or announcements.
We can award multiple products each year, including within the same category. However, we keep the number limited to recognize products that offer something genuinely different.
We sometimes like to think of the 3DWithUs Editor’s Pick Award as our own little Michelin star, but for 3D printing and related technologies. Just like restaurants, products need to maintain their standards. If performance deteriorates or we receive consistent, well-founded complaints, we reserve the right to review or withdraw the award. After all, even a Michelin star isn’t guaranteed forever!
